Lunch and Learn Workshops with Dr. Mike and Dr. Dana are a popular way to spread the message of health and wellness to your fellow employees, church members, school or social group. As a public service to our community, these seminars are FREE. They are know as "lunch and learns" because they are done during the lunch hour. We provide a free lunch when requested and an exact head count is given 2 days prior. Current workshops include:
STRESS
Stress is known as the "silent killer" and is the number one trigger for heart attacks. Heart attacks kill more Americans than any other disease. Learn how to cope with stress and avoid the initial start of a heart attack with this important lecture. We also raffle off a free 1-hour deep tissue massage to help with stress and increase employee morale. It creates a fun lunch and some excitement.
HEADACHES
The doctors of Celar Chiropractic are headache specialists and enjoy teaching people how they can cope with the "wear and tear" that they put on their bodies. Even 1 headache per month will equate to almost 2 weeks of your life being lived in unnecessary pain. We have the solution to 90% of all headaches!! We will decode your headaches, classify them, and show home remedies that you can apply immediately.
NUTRITION
This workshop explains the proper methods of combining appropriate food groups for optimum digestion, maximum energy and also, if sensibly applied, will result in weight loss for those that need to shed a few pounds. We uncover the secrets to fueling your immune system and eating to decrease your risk of cancer! This is a rare lecture that actually shows you how NOT to become a patient of any doctor.
SPINAL CARE CLASS
This class is routinely done as an educational class for the patients of Celar Chiropractic. The doctors use it to help their own patients HEAL FASTER! They go over spinal anatomy and how to improve your standing and work posture, proper lifting techniques, ergonomics, sleeping positions and mattresses, basic first aid for "throwing out" your back, and many other important facts on how to prevent low back pain. They are experts in low back conditions and you will definitely learn something you can use everyday to prevent pain.
